What to do
Follow these steps and use your completed document during the class discussion.
Step 1
Open the live SQUAD 12 Application Maze Google Doc and work with one partner.
Step 2
Choose or read two different senior scenarios. You must complete both Scenario 1 and Scenario 2.
Step 3
For Scenario 1, complete its Application Map: Apply, Pay, Gather for Documents & Support, and Follow Up.
Step 4
Repeat the process on a separate Application Map for Scenario 2.
Step 5
Verify requirements and deadlines. If you cannot confirm something, write NEED TO RESEARCH rather than guessing.
Step 6
Review both maps with your partner and make sure every section is complete before you finish.
How to map each scenario
Four questions keep the process organized.
Use the same four categories for both students so you can see what is shared and what changes by pathway.
Apply
What applications, accounts, forms, or registrations must this student complete?
Pay
What fees, deposits, tuition costs, or financial-aid applications should this student expect?
Gather
What transcripts, recommendations, test scores, identification, essays, or support people are needed?
Follow Up
What must the student check, confirm, schedule, send, or complete after applying?
